Herbalist Day will be here before we know it, and that means it’s time to start celebrating! This event, which takes place once a year on April 17th, is a time for herbalists and herb enthusiasts equally to come together and pay tribute to the numerous gifts that the world of plants has to offer.
You, as a herbalist, have most likely witnessed the transformative force of plants in action. The world of herbalism is vast and has a never-ending fascination for those who are interested in it, regardless of whether they use plants for medicinal purposes, culinary purposes, or simply for their beauty and fragrance.
At the Herbal Academy, we hold the firm belief that Herbalist Day is among the most significant celebrations that can be found on the annual schedule. It is a time to honor the instructors who have inspired us along the way, to reflect on our own personal journeys with herbs, and to offer thanks to the plants themselves for the many gifts they have bestowed upon us.
In celebration of Herbalist Day, we are pleased to introduce a free webinar series that will feature presentations from some of the most prominent herbalists currently working in the industry. Throughout the week building up to Herbalist Day, a number of renowned herbalists, including Rosemary Gladstar, Dr. Aviva Romm, and our very own Founder, Marlene Adelmann, will be discussing their experiences and imparting their knowledge.
Therefore, if you are looking for something to do to commemorate Herbalist Day this year, we would like to extend an invitation to participate in this free webinar series that we are hosting. There is something for everyone in this series, regardless of whether you are an experienced herbalist or just beginning out on your journey with plants.
Herbalist Day can be observed in a variety of other ways as well, so there is no shortage of opportunities to do so. You could go for a stroll in the woods to get in touch with the plants that are all around you, experiment with a new herbal recipe, or just take a few moments to be grateful for all of the many things that the plant world has to offer.
